We highly recommend using a ruler to confirm the printed paper size (see instructions on the right side). If possible, use an cutting blade or the open end of a pair of scissors to make the incision for the slot. Pull the sizer tightly around the finger to ensure an accurate size measurement.

A few tips to keep in mind:

• Measure the intended ring finger at the time of the day when it will be at its largest—this is usually at the end of the day.
• Avoid measuring fingers when they are cold or damp, as they will be at their smallest.
• Bands and rings that are over 5mm in width may fit more tightly than narrower widths even though the rings are the same size.
